Exciting find of the week!

This week I spent a day with my Mom running errands and hanging out. It was a pretty fun day. We did some shopping. Anyone who has been to my parents' house knows that my mother collects honey pots. She finds these at antique shops and yard sales, and sometimes at the goodwill. So while we were out and about we stopped at the goodwill to look for honey pots. We didn't find any, but I did find something that absolutely blows my mind. I saw a little clear packet lying on one of the shelves among the old vases and cracked cups. I had to look again because there was something shiny in the packet which I couldn't identify. I wish I hadn't. I wish I had kept walking because contemplating how someone could come to think that this, or I should say these things should go to the goodwill has taken up way too much of my time this week. Anyway, what was it? It was pasties. Not the cornish food product but the small sparkly things that attach to the round squishy things. So the questions that have been idly floating around my head this week are: Who cleans out their closet and thinks "Jeez I don't need these anymore, maybe they should go to the thrift shop"? Is there a person out there who goes to the goodwill and finds $2 pasties and thinks they've hit the jackpot? You know there is. Just in case that person is you, it was the Forest Grove GW and they were near the dishes.
